She Makes Me go la la la!

This is a song inspired by this lovely, charming, beautiful, high spirited girl whom I met a couple of times in the cafe… etc. ..and no , she’s not mine of course. This is a very simple straight forward rock song that talks about a girl that made this guy go bonkers and also about taking chances in life.
Me and the band will be using this song for the upcoming GBOB band contest. By the way this song is not fully completed yet. I was supposed to add more vocal parts towards the end.
Today’s the day
She celebrates her new day
Like the monrning sun
She brings a smile to everyoneShe took her shower
And sang to the song of the hour
And when she’s fresh
It’s time to pick her favorite summer dress
She brushes her hair, and now She’s ready!I’ll go la la la la la
When she’s around meShe walks into the cafe
Sweet perfume in the air
And time stood still
I can’t explain it I think I’ll never will
Girl are you listening
To what I’m sayin’!Bridge1
So many words so many reasons to think twice
I think I’ll take my chances so let’s see what’s on the dice!Bridge2
She’ll add some colors to your life
Turn everything to paradise
The way she walks the way she moves
The way she dance into the groove

[…] As mentioned before, we will be trying out for the battle of the band thingy. One of the songs that we will be using is a simple song I wrote called “She Makes Me Go La La La”. Inpired by the girl in the cafe. We are still trying to come up with a new song for the second song that is required. I have a few but we thought maybe we needed another fast paced music. To get a sample of how that “She Makes Me Go La La La” song sounds like, head over to my latest music post at lifedemo.com. […]
I really like the song Kay!
Since you want comments, hope you don’t mind mine
I think a more solid title would be better? And I thought the part around 2.19 was terlampau laju for the overall beat.
BUT having said that, I like it. and when you have a youtube of it, let us know
All the best.
Jewelle- Wah. My first Saturday comment! I thought of naming the song as “The girl that make my heart go boom-boom-boom whenever she’s in front of me but I know it’s a bad idea to write a song about her”. But after a while, I just made a simple title.
2:19? The rap part? Ya kah? Hmmm…
Glad you enjoyed it! The real test is to let your daughter listen to this. Let’s see what she has to say! LoL!
Wow !! Is that your voice mr kay ?? I have one suggestion .. change the title to “She Makes Me Thirsty in the Cafe” . Muahahaha… really nice song , simple n good lyrics . You are really talented as musician ..
Helmee- ‘Thirsty’.. hmmm is there a hidden meaning in that ha ha ha Lol! Thanks buddy. But looks like we are not using this one for the contest. There’s some slight change of plans.
