Here’s something I wrote very quickly. Just a simple song with simple musical arrangements. A reggae birthday song for my sister, Dymphna Sandra Kastum. Happy birthday sis. Today’s your new day. Hope to give yo a real gift next round…

It’s been a while now
But can you see how
It doesn’t matter where you are
You have a place here in my heart

So can you tell me
‘to make you happy
I will do anything for you
Do you want me to buy the Zoo??

Happy birthday to my sista
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday oh *’dawta’
Happy birthday to you

*Jamaican, dawta noun: “used by many men to refer to a woman”

It All Comes Down

You may notice all my songs are currently related to love. Mostly about pain. Thank God for music, this has been a working therapy for me. You got the drift. Here’s a song me and my band used for our first song during the GBOB. I told you people I will be using this song that I mentioned before but eventually we scrape that one off.

Here it is, “It All Comes Down”, the ‘Acoustic’ version. There’s a Youtube version too where I mix it with our GBOB Video. Click Here for that.

Here it is. Hmmm.. I suspect there may be some grammar issues. Lol!

Here’s a Responsorial Psalm arrangements I did for my sister Cindy. yeah, the owner of the blog “Forevertulip.com

I was quite surprised with the result of this recording. I was back in my hometown in Sabah at the time and I did not bring my proper equipment I normally use for home recording ie: my laptop, the Wharfedale pro Mic, my M-Audio, audio interface etc. All I used was this cheap PC mic and my dad’s old Yamaha acoustic guitar!!! Sounds so good man.

So here it is, I just love it. Maybe one day I will add some background vocals too. Oh, and you may notice some background voices… I think it was my dad.. LOL. We recorded this in the room with the doors open and all… well we are not pro bah. have a pleasant day people.

Apparently I found the ‘completed’ version. I totally forgot about it! So here it is….
